What tE2 means
A temperature sensor problem, usually in cold conditions or during steam cycles when the duct cools down too quickly.
Likely causes
- Cold installation area
- Lint in the filter or vent
Safe first checks
- Clean the lint filter.
- Check the outside vent flap opens fully and clear lint around it.
When to stop
If tE2 returns after a reset, request service.
