Terms of Service

Effective: October 26, 2026

Who we are

These Terms are an agreement between you and Error Code Helpline, a service of Bradley Construction Group, Inc. ("we," "us"). By using this website, the AI helper or the shop, you agree to these Terms.

Information only

Error code meanings, troubleshooting steps and AI helper replies are general information, not professional advice, and are provided as is. Codes vary by model, year and region, and manuals change. Always confirm with your owner's manual. We don't guarantee that any information is complete, current or right for your equipment, or that a problem can be fixed.

The AI helper

The AI helper is an automated assistant, not a technician. It can make mistakes. Don't rely on it for safety decisions. We may limit how many messages you can send, and we may end a conversation or block use that is abusive, unsafe or automated.

Safety and your responsibility

Smell gas? Leave now, don't touch switches, and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. CO alarm sounding? Get everyone outside and call 911. Turn power off at the breaker before you open any appliance panel. Leave gas valves, burners, venting, wiring inside panels, sealed refrigerant systems and combustion parts to a licensed pro. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to do any work, for doing it safely, and for following your manufacturer's instructions and local codes and permit rules. See our Safety disclaimer.

Shop orders

Orders from our shop ship directly from our supplier partners' warehouses. Prices and shipping are shown before you pay. Cancellations, returns, refunds, damaged or wrong items and warranty help follow our Returns & refunds policy, which is part of these Terms. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty only. Make sure a part matches your model before you order.

Trademarks

Brand and product names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify the products our information covers. We are independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Error Code Helpline and Bradley Construction Group, Inc are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including property damage, personal injury, or lost time or money, that come from using this website, the AI helper, our information or parts, or from any work you or anyone else performs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the order the claim is about, or $50 if you didn't buy anything. Some states don't allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York. This does not take away any consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own state.
